Freight Forecasting host Michael Vincent is joined by Jeff Dangelo, Founder of Turvo in a discussion about the need to re-think collaboration, transparency and freight data.

Dangelo co-founded Turvo, which is based in Palo Alto, California, in October 2014 after about 13 years in logistics and supply chain sales at MegaCorp Logistics and Total Quality Logistics.

Watch the episode below:

Turvo is a leading provider of collaborative logistics software designed for the global supply chain. It is the first multi-enterprise collaborative platform specifically designed for the global supply chain. Turvo connects people and organizations, which allows shippers, logistics providers and carriers to digitally transform their workflows with cloud-based software and mobile applications for a better customer experience and brand differentiation. The technology unifies all systems, internal and external, providing one end-to-end platform to execute all operations and analytics, while eliminating redundant manual tasks and automating business processes.

At the recent American Shipper Global Trade Tech Conference hosted by FreightWaves, Turvo won the award for ‘BEST IN SHOW.’ This award, achieved by popular vote of event attendees, validated Turvo’s position as a leading technology disruptor and customer experience platform for the global supply chain.

Dangelo demonstrated the Turvo platform at Global Trade Tech, reflecting on its capacity to help every party involved within a global supply chain connect over a shared and interconnected network.

Michael and Jeff discussed the need and the imperative nature of transparent data in the future supply chain across all modes.

According to Dangelo, freight and supply chain companies with siloed systems causes them trouble with visibility both internally and externally. They also have challenges gathering data, as well as with the speed at which they can get to data.
