In early June, at the Future of Supply Chain event in Atlanta, SONAR founder and CEO, Craig Fuller and Head of Freight Market Intelligence, Zach Strickland, noted that the North American freight market is showing signs of improvement, with capacity and rates becoming more responsive to seasonality. Unlike in 2023, traditional disruptions like produce season and International Roadcheck Week are now having a noticeable impact on trucking capacity and spot rates. This year is looking a little different as the market seems to be responding to more seasonal norms.
